moles

Nice bulb. Shame about the lamp.

You bought a bulb that does sixteen million colours. Then you put it in a lamp that does one look, and it isn’t a good one.

moles makes floor lamps built around a standard socket. Your bulb, in something worth looking at.

Most modern lamps have LEDs sealed inside, meanwhile your smart bulb has no place to go.

When you do find a lamp that fits the bulb — it looks like it came from your mom’s house.

So we made one. A standard socket, inside a shape worth looking at.

Each one is opal glass and powder-coated steel. The socket sits at the centre of the globe, so the glow is even instead of a bright blob at the bottom.

No app. No firmware. No pairing. Swap bulb brands whenever you want — the lamp doesn’t care.

And in daylight, just a very good lamp.

The first three.

Same socket, same opal glass, three different shapes.

Three thin legs, one glowing sphere.

The Cluster lamp: four opal spheres on branching arms from a single stem.

Cluster

Four globes on a single stem.

The Arc lamp: a slim steel arc reaching over with a hanging opal sphere.

The first run is small.
